Many corporations have created “matching” programs, through which they will match your donation to a qualified charitable organization up to a pre-set dollar amount. In some cases, corporations will double or even triple your donation. You work hard for your company and now you can put your company to work for a cause that matters to you. Simply follow the steps below:

(1) Check with your company’s Human Resources group to see what the company’s policy is on matching your donations.
(2) Request a “Matching Gift” form from your Human Resources group and fill out the designated sections of the form (usually the first section) with information about the gift you will be submitting for a match.
